Shadowing
The Shadowing Program is a semester-long experience designed for students to explore engineering, healthcare innovation, and the different opportunities available within DTE.
Through assigned team rotations, shadowers will attend meetings, participate in collaborative problem-solving, and complete introductory technical assignments. Shadowers will build foundational skills, learn how our teams operate, and identify engineering areas that interest them the most.
Why Join the Shadowing Program?
-
Find your niche through team rotations: Get formally placed onto active project teams each rotation cycle, giving you direct, hands-on exposure to different engineering applications before choosing a focus.
-
Build real-world skills as an active contributor: Pick up real technical skills through hands-on project participation, team collaboration, and dedicated internal workshops.
-
Mentorship and community: Connect with your cohort and the broader DTE network through our structured mentor-mentee program, committee involvement, service events, and casual socials!
